Lunch and cruise on the St. Johns River.
Lunch at Drifters in Astor, Florida and then a cruise on the St. Johns River in the afternoon.

We have aHouseboat that will hold about 12 heads.
We have a bowrider that will hold a tight 6 heads.
Thanks to George Barton for the boate.
The boats will be at Drifters and we will make up crews there.
The crew so far is:John / Jo, Charley / Kasey, Katie, Tom W, Dwight, Pam / Brad, Suze / Ron, Mike K, Mike / Susan, Jeff / Vicki, George, Capt. Paul / Deb
If you can trailer a boat to Astor, please let us know so we can have comfortable seating for all.
We will meet at the Winn-Dixie parking lot on the corner of SR 19 and CR 44 just north of Eustis at 10:15.
We can make up a carpool or just caravan to Drifters. Some people will drive over directly from their out of area homes.
Lunch at Drifters (the old Blackwater Inn) is at 11:15ish.
The drive / trailer time to Astor is about 40 minutes and they have a very nice, easy boat ramp.
Commodore Jon can be your Cruisemaster.
If you can trailer....or just want to join us. .Let us know. Seating is limited.
OPTIONS......Capt Tom W is thinking about renting a pontoon if we have an overflow. The cost is about $200.00 for the afternoon divided by how many want to go with him.If 6 go it will be about $35.00 a head. This is an option, pending on turnout.
Jeff Neer is going to launch (10:00) at SR 44 @ St. Johns River and cruise north to meet us at the Restaurant. If you want to trailer, and meet for lunch, this is a great idea. You could run your boat with him? You could also have the option of trailering and launching in Astor, for a shorter trip.Communications with JohnD, Capt. Tom and Jeff can make this happen. THANK YOU to George for the Houseboat and Bowrider. I got that covered.
John has RSVP for about 16 so far, riding on the Houseboat, Bowrider and maybe 1 or 2 with Jeff. If you think you want to go, but are unsure if you are on the list. Let John Know.
